Dust off your tools! We will begin building another Habitat house this May through July, along with several other churches. Check out the Upcoming Events for details of the build schedule.
Many of the same churches (St. James United Methodist, Welcome All Baptist, West Mitchell CME and Oglethorpe Presbyterian) that we have built with before will be working with us again this year. New churches joining the coalition are Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic, St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal and Brookhaven UMC. There are jobs and tools available for all skills and training if you would like to learn something new. Come join in the fun! In cooperation with other churches and church coalitions, Covenant participates in building homes as part of Habitat for Humanity. Habitat brings together people with resources and people in need to build simple, decent, affordable houses. The homes are sold to those in need at no profit, through no-interest loans. You are invited to get involved in this wonderful hands-on ministry through Covenant Presbyterian.
