Christian community provides the foundation for our life together, our faith journey, and our spiritual growth. While we may pray privately, we cannot grow apart from community. Real community rests in God but requires the commitment of each of us.
Covenant Presbyterian Church understands that true community embraces our difference as well as what we share in common and that we are called to work toward hospitality, inclusion, and acceptance of others. ("When you welcome the stranger, you welcome me." - Jesus)
Life together becomes possible through our own spiritual growth. Personal study and spiritual discipline results in transformed hearts and minds freeing us to be Christ to each other in community.
